NP150X: New plate technology for low temperature differences

Increasing demand for cold supply in high-rise buildings and data centers as well as district cooling poses new challenges to gasketed plate heat exchangers in matter of pressure resistance and performance.

Kelvion PHE has presented a new plate series called NP. Mainly oriented for the HVAC industry, the NP plate was designed to answer the industry demand for extremely low temperature differences, high NTU values and high pressure resistance. The first model of the NP Series is the NP150X and it will be available since February 2019.

Technical spectifications for the NP150X model are:

• Material: 1.4301 / AISI 304 y 1.4404 / AISI 316L


• Max pressure: 42 bar(g)


• Corrugation: H and M


• Gap: 1,80 mm


• It fits in the same frame as the NT150X
