The filtration systems protect heat exchangers from fouling and impurity, reducing production stops, assuring the highest efficiency and functional safety of a system.
The SCHÜNEMANN self-cleaning filters work under the Bernoulli principle and allow an automatic cleaning without the dissasembly of the mesh. The low pressure drop on the filters (0,1-0,2 bar) allows to install these units in line, where the pressure can be as low as 0,4 bar. In this case, the separation is independent of the shape or density of the particles and it is possible to separate not only particles but also fiber, Shell, algae, etc.
