VARIVENT® tank bottom valves are used for shutting off pipelines at tanks or containers. Various housing connections can be welded directly into the tank bottom, flush mounted into the tank bottom wall.
There are two types of tank bottom valves available:
Single seat, type N and U: they are used when there is no need for safe separation between the tank and the piping, because there is no risk of mixing between incompatible media.
Double seat mixproof, with radial seal, type T: they are used if the tank has a single line for filing and emptying. The mixproof separation between the piping and the tank interior allows to clean the pipes while the process continues in the tank.
